Three solid 2YO winners this week for CAPTAINTREACHEROUS with The Lost Storm and Perfect Class both taking heats of the Vicbred Platinum Home Grown Classic at Bendigo by good big margins, and Rakamurph making it two from three at Wyndham.
Exciting news to learn that 3x GROUP 1 winning daughter of CAPTAIN, Tough Tilly, is due back at the trials, and we can’t wait to see her TALL DARK STRANGER foal a bit later in the season courtesy of a recipient mare.
Of our past sires, SOMEBEACHSOMEWHERE remains dominant, recording five winners – Wave Dancer, Some Change, Eve Crocker, Full Brother and Woody Lombo. WESTERN TERROR took a treble (True Confessions, Marmitta & Silver Mystique) as did WELL SAID (Joeys Hangoever, Akermanis & Big Jim Valentine), while BETTING LINE (Diamond Shooz) and KENNETH J (Swaggie Shannon) both recorded winners.
