Treacherous Gall, a daughter of CAPTAINTREACHEROUS, claimed a heat of the Sires Stakes this week at Addington, taking her record to 4-3-1!
CAPTAIN was also front and centre at this week’s Lexington Selected Yearling Sales, leading the pacing sires for $ brought in – $6.48M, more than $3.8M than the next closest pacing sire. Overall, 29 of his yearlings saw $100,000 or more, and his top lot was filly Eunoia Hanover at $325,000. STAY HUNGRY is doing extra well too – 15 lots sold, with four over $120,000 including top lot Stay Cool Hanover ($250,000) and Fasnacht Hanover ($190,000).
A big list of our past sires were represented this week – WESTERN TERROR with four (Lets Blaze, Rubins Plight, Western Arterra & Kimble), SOMEBEACHSOMEWHERE with five (Merolamagic, Be My Girl, Faraway Eyes, Beach Villa & Lyrical Genius), and trebles for HESTON BLUE CHIP (My Kinda Justus, Master Words & Cash Em In Shannon) and FOUR STARZZZ SHARK (Starzzz Reign, Allstarzzz Frankie & Lavender Dolly).
A double for BLISSFULL HALL (Kingston Shannon & Yoursnmine), and winners for JET LAAG (Destiny Blues), BETTING LINE (Betting Origin), ROCKNROLL HANOVER (Rocking With Charm) and ARTISTIC FELLA (Jasperine).
