The mighty mare Nicki Nah Nah was defeated at Bendigo by fellow CAPTAIN mare Jilliby Willow who brought up $58K in earnings with her 1:55 win, and on the same card, JIllibyjacksparrow posted his third win in four starts to top $55,000. At Scottsdale Captain Dan was in the money while at Newcastle, Gandalf went 1:54.8 to win his first race in Australia. Lanie put three together with a 1:51.9 win at Albion Park while at Melton, Captain Wilson edged closer to $70,000 in earnings with his 1:54.8 victory.
Of our past sires, BETTING LINE yet again topped the list (Rising Spirit, I Bet You & Judes My Life), ahead of ROCKNROLL HANOVER (Lils Nightmare & Minstrel) and WELL SAID (Im Reggie & Repartee) with doubles. There were winners also for WESTERN TERROR (Victory George) and SOMEBEACHSOMEWHERE (Repelling).
