Ruby Roe took a heat of the Southern Oaks at Winton in 1:55.8, just ahead of fellow CAPTAIN filly All You Need Is Me to take her third win in four lifetime starts. Three-year-old winners also at Alexandra in Chase A Dream who put his earnings past $148,000 and Sophies Scooter made a CAPTAIN double at Albury with Keayang Crippa. Our Chiquitita won on Cranbourne Cup night while at Carrick, Gordons Bay took the Scott Stakes to bring his bank up to $230,000.
CAPTAIN‘s sole lot at Sunday’s yearlings sales, the Summertime filly, brought in $65,000 and at the Southern Stars, the STAY HUNGRY colt from Crown Royale was knocked down for $32,000.
