A massive Group-heavy weekend for CAPTAINTREACHEROUS, notching up nine winners headlined by GROUP 2 winner, filly All You Need Is Me taking the Caduceus Club 3YO Fillies Ladyship Stakes in an Alexandra Park double with Dreams Are Free who claimed a heat of the Sires Stakes 3YO C&G Series, and in the GROUP 3 Melton Plate, The Lost Storm who took his earnings past $336,000 with the win.
Spirit King posted 1:54.7 at Newcastle, Treacherous Saint hit eight lifetime wins after a Mt Gambier salute, Fay Irene made it two wins from five starts in Canberra, Captain Meister won again at Wyndham, Cee Tee Chelsea claimed a heat of the Jane Ellen in Hobart and at Broken Hill, Keayang Moroccan won the2024 Baker Memorial Pacing Cup. The Australian-bred Jilliby Dynamite is also doing great things in North America, taking a leg of the New Holland Pacing Series at Woodbine Mohawk Park in 1:53.1 on a weather affected track.
