The Bathurst carnival is off to a cracking start for our boys with STAY HUNGRY filly London Baby heading an Empire trifecta in the Gold Tiara Silver Consolation (ahead of CAPTAINTREACHEROUS filly Crusader Miss and STAY HUNGRY‘s Our Dance Monkey), and in a heat of the Gold Bracelet, CAPTAINTREACHEROUS daughter Lux Aeterna taking her tenth win from 13 starts in 1:54.7. At Manawatu, Barbarossa topped $85,000, Takitout reached $52,000 at Wyndham and at Addington CAPTAINTREACHEROUS had a new winner when General Jen saluted on debut.

Of our past sires, BETTING LINE continued to dominate with four winners – Buddy Perfect, My Ultimate Levi, Bet The House & Betting Jewel – even this week with WESTERN TERROR‘s four – Terrordan, Bruised Ego, Victory George & Shireen. There were also winners for FOUR STARZZZ SHARK (Polly Peachum), ROCKNROLL HANOVER (Full Swing Denario) and SOMEBEACHSOMEWHERE (Hesashorething).
