A massive week for our boys across both hemispheres.
CAPTAINTREACHEROUS reached a terrific milestone with two-year-old filly Treacherous Belle becoming his 200th Australian winner following her win at Wagga, and the well-bred Seathestars making for one more when he took his maiden at Melton in 1:53.8 in just his third start. Further two-year-old winners came in the form of Hezatreacherous taking a 10m 1:54.6 win at Menangle, and Path To Greatness appeared at Redcliffe, putting 5m on his rivals. Ourtreacherous Reign clocked 1:56.4 to secure a win at Penrith, Go Away Again was dominant with an 11m victory at Mildura and at Albion Park, Sure Thing Captain continued on his winning ways with a 1:54.3 salute.
At The Red Mile in the US, TALL DARK STRANGER had a day out with his daughters Long Hot Summer and Flossy Hill claiming legs of the Kentucky Golden Rod Series (2YO Fillies), while at Harrah’s Philadelphia, STAY HUNGRY and CAPTAINTREACHEROUS girls ran the show in The Stallion Series divisions – Odds On Aces Full (STAY HUNGRY) in 1:53.2 and for CAPTAIN, Lyons Benz (1:52) and Simply Perfect (1:52.3).
Of our past sires, BETTING LINE yet again led the way – Diamond Shooz, Sovrana, My Line of Fire, Double Lines, Snip of Beauty and Credulous all in the money, followed by SOMEBEACHSOMERWHERE with five – Full Brother, Oursurfinsafari, Sough Shaz, Nai Harn Bay & Icanmotor. WESTERN TERROR (Skippers Swan Song, Jay Bee & Western Ricki) and WELL SAID (Amys Baby Angel, Royal Speech & Eye Know) took trebles, ROCKNROLL HANOVER a double (Kissmelvis & Rock The Nation) and FOUR STARZZZ SHARK was represented by Hesastar.
