STAY HUNGRY two-year-old Stay Foolish (bred by Medowie Lodge) was in the money yet again this week, taking his third win at Bathurst, while in the US he was represented in a $50,000 leg of the Kentucky Sires Stakes by Hers Hungry (Cumberland Run, 1:50.3) and filly Staying With Emily who won her division of the John Simpson Memorial at Pocono Downs in 1:50.2.
Two CAPTAINTREACHEROUS mares in the winners’ circle this week – new winner Goodtime Sailor (Ian & Jan Slater) got up for her first salute at Mildura, and at Menangle it was Our Chiquitita (Durham Park ) clocking 1:53.7 to take her third lifetime win.
Of our past roster, there were doubles for BETTING LINE (Straight Flush & Ozzie Punta) and SOMEBEACHSOMEWHERE (Lamandier & Dancin Dolly) and a treble for FOUR STARZZZ SHARK (Keilor Baby Shark, Beef City Starzzz & Giant Jackson).
