A new winner this weekend for STAY HUNGRY with filly Melfield Soryt (bred by S & N Dickson) taking a win at Newcastle while seasoned campaigner Brue Hanover took a clean sweep of the New Holland series at Woodbine in Canada, taking STAY HUNGRY starter average earnings in North America to over $67,000!
CAPTAINTREACHEROUS also had a new winner in his list of five for the weekend in Magic Captain (Mal Moody) who was one of a CAPTAIN double at Wagga with track specialist Burton (Alex Smith & Russell Woods) who took a consecutive victory there to bring his bank to $78,000. Danger Play (Benstud) took her win tally to three at Hobart, as did Captain Kobe (K Carville) at Manawatu, and at Addington, Renegade (Breckon Farms) claimed the 2025 Cheviot Cup to tick over $137,000 in earnings.
SOMEBEACHSOMEWHERE continues to produce winners, represented five time courtesy of Remember Me Now, Beach Hopper, Wheres Our Money, A Lot of Luvin and Beach Diamond. BETTING LINE took a treble (Apex, Young Bluey & Cold Hard Cash) while WESTERN TERROR‘s Jessejames Shannon took another victory.
