A solid treble for CAPTAINTREACHEROUS with three-year-old Its Electrifying (pic, bred by Les Whiteside) taking his fifth consecutive win, posting 1:52.1 at Albion Park with a 13m margin. A new three-year-old winner at Cambridge in Debrief (Breckon Farms) and at Globe Derby it was Tell A Tall Story (M Croatto, M McDonald, A Day & A Stoevelaar) in the winner’s circle for the 8th time.
STAY HUNGRY rising star Melfield Soryt also notched her third win, taking a Ladyship Pace at Penrith. In North America, TALL DARK STRANGER filly Wayward Blue Chip made light work of her Virginia O’Brien Memorial leg at Saratoga, and at Yonkers it was CAPTAIN son Chase H Hanover in 1:52 to take a $50,000 leg of the MGM Borgata.
BETTING LINE again led the way for our past roster with five winners – Kyoretsu, Lord Fantasy, Dashing Cowboy, Harleequin & Spirited Whitby – while FOUR STARZZZ SHARK had a quad of Smokeshow, Beef City Starzzz, Mizzz Adele and Burns Bay. THere was a double for ROCKNROLL HANOVER (Oyster Stride & Harold Hanover) and winners each for WESTERN TERROR (Sundancer Rainbow) and SOMEBEACHSOMEWHERE (Ima Terminator).
