STAY HUNGRY stay well clear on top of the Australian First Season Sires’ table after 2YO colt Stay Foolish saluted on debut this week at Bathurst – the rising star sire now has had four winners from seven starters who’ve collectively earnt over $51,000 this season.
Now CAPTAINTREACHOUS needs no proof of greatness but he had three new winners this week nonetheless! A double of new comers at Redcliffe with Master Charles and filly Leaving A Legacy in the money, and My Ultimate Hugo at Leeton. Tell A Tall Story won at Globe Derby Park and two-year-old filly Bittersweet kept her unbeaten record in tact with a win at Bathurst.
Of our past sires, WESTERN TERROR led the charge with Sew What taking the Horsham Cup to give him a treble along with Yesnomaybeso & Favouritehighlight while BETTING LINE (Butter Cup & Credulous) and FOUR STARZZZ SHARK (Starzzz Reign) took a double each. WELL SAID was represented by Warloch and ARTSPEAK by Aunty Frances.
