The Bathurst Gold Carnival is underway and CAPTAINTREACHEROUS fillies were prominent in the 2YO Gold Tiara heats this week. Pink Bonnet winner Lux Aeterna dominated her heat, putting 23m on rivals and posting the fastest mile rate of the night, while Destiny Stride was very impressive winning her heat on debut. CAPTAIN was also helping Team Teal down at Yarra Valley, with Captain Wilson taking the win with Kate Gath in the sulky.
FOUR STARZZZ SHARK led the table of our past sires this week, with a treble – Prince Sahara, Lucky Starzzz & Promise Me Heaven – while there were doubles for both WESTERN TERROR (Lets Blaze & Western Action) and SOMEBEACHSOMEWHERE (Mymatepog & Beach Party).
Wins also for HESTON BLUE CHIP (Philandering Chef), WELL SAID (Just As Well), ARTSPEAK (Aunty Frances) and KENNETH J (Fly Cheval).
