CAPTAINTREACHEROUS sons and daughters just keep doing their thing this Autumn… Two-year-old filly Bittersweet clocked 1:54.7 at Bathurst to take a heat of the Gold Tiara, her third consecutive win to remain unbeaten and the fastest heat of the night by more than a second! It was the second fastest time of the night, only behind Jewel Melody’s 1:54.5 to win the Hondo Grattan Sprint. The win brings her within $6,000 of the half-million stakes mark!
Elsewhere 3YO Franco Encore continued his winning ways at Pinjarra, a new winner appeared at Mildura in Treacherous Heart, and at Redcliffe Master Charles made it two consecutive wins, ahead by nearly 10m at the line.
Of our past roster, BETTING LINE dominated again with seven winners – Jilliby Mistress, Rio De Janeiro Blue, Elite Styx, Daylight, Chilli Punter, Bet The House and Le Spartacus – while both WELL SAID (Alakazam & Peter Fosberg) and WESTERN TERROR (Bruised Ego & Anyonewilldo) recorded doubles. SOMEBEACHSOMEWHERE recorded four – Mos London, Dancin Dolly, Jaxon Beach & Infinity Beach – while FOUR STARZZZ SHARK was represented by Here Comes Sharkie.
