Trebles for both BETTING LINE and CAPTAINTREACHEROUS this week!
The son of Bettor’s Delight had a new 2YO winner at Wagga in Atworthy-bred Our Rebel Yell, making it a double at the track with Spring Line putting two together. At Kilmore, 3YO Gipsy Princess claimed a 7.4m victory.
For CAPTAIN, impressive 3YO filly Scarlet Ribbon made it three consecutive wins with a salute at Gloucester Park, while 4YOs Eternal Gold (Redcliffe) and Rascal (Bunbury) also got the choccies.
HESTON BLUE CHIP filly Merge Right was successful at Redcliffe while Incognito clocked 1:54 at Tabcorp Park Menangle.
Impressive doesn’t begin to describe 2YO CAPTAIN filly Jewel Melody’s trial at Albion Park – 1:52.2 with 51.9m of daylight to her next trialler! Ripp (BEACH) clocked 1:51.3 at Albion, while BETTING LINE filly Soho Serapine, already one win from two starts, is making a promising return with a successful trial at Tabcorp Park Melton.
In the northern hemisphere, HUNTSVILLE continued to prove his worth – four divisions of the 3YO C&G NYSS at Vernon Downs and four winners by the sire – Seven Hundred, Bounty Hunter, All About The Hunt & River Ness.
Our former sires were on the books too this week – five each for WESTERN TERROR (Hes A Terror, Marmitta, Aunty Bella, Milloo Gunslinger & Nor Westa) and SOMEBEACHSOMEWHERE (The Iron Lady, Lucky Beach Boy, Eve Crocker, Golden Sand & Ardens Reality), a treble for WELL SAID (Wesaidso, Rambling On & Sweet Jasmine) and wins for ARTSPEAK (Australiana), ARTISTIC FELLA (Sweet Creation), BLISSFULL HALL (Nevaevabend) and FOUR STARZZZ SHARK (Prince Sarhara).
