Four new 3YO winners in among CAPTAINTREACHEROUS‘ six midweek results – Scuttlebutt at Pinjarra, Goodtime Libby at Geelong, Perfect Potion at Wyndham and at Redcliffe by 6.5m, Blondieintheback. Captain Bligh made a double at Pinjarra while Captain Braveheart was in the money again at Echuca.
It’s no surprise that CAPTAINTREACHEROUS is leading the tables at the moment in Australia – leading 3YO sire overall and on averages, leading 2YO sire on averages and leading overall sire on averages!
In North America, colt El Rey put in a 1:48.3 run to take a leg of the Kentucky Commonwealth Series and filly Gifted One won her $80,000 division of the Kentucky Sire Stakes at The Red Mile where STAY HUNGRY son Hungry To Succeed also won a leg of the Kentucky Golden Rod Series in 1:50.2.
Of our past sires, SOMEBEACHSOMEWHERE made up for a slow weekend with five winners – Fantasy Beach, Andaman Bay, Telemachus, Forever Moments & Jilliby Jay Sea – almost equalled by BETTING LINE with four – Tilly Jayne, Rio De Janeiro Blue, Bet Sheza Lady & Not As Promised. WELL SAID posted a double (Aphorism in win #29 & Saginaw) while there were winners for ARTSPEAK (Aunty Frances), WESTERN TERROR (The Gypsy King) and BLISSFULL HALL (Jacks Up).
