Some solid wins for CAPTAINTREACHERUOS stock over for the King’s Birthday weekend, capped off by a massive 17.89m performance in the 2024 Warragul Pacing Cup by KEAYANG TOKYO. Earlier at Menangle, Captains Knock took a 1:51.6 win while at Albion Park, Captain Shuffle inched withing $200,000 in earnings with his 1:53 victory. At Mildura, mare Treacherous Heart put in a tough effort to take a heat of the Neville Japp series and in North America, three new two-year-old CAPTAINS claimed the some of the earliest qualifying trials for two-year-olds, with Ascendance, Duration and Captain Optimistic saluting in the ‘baby races’ at Meadowlands.
Even more excitingly, the first two were won by TALL DARK STRANGER juveniles – Realmenwearblu and Wavemaker both stopped the clock on 1:56.3.
Of our past roster, WESTERN TERROR led the way with five winners – Full of Wisdom, Wayoutwest, Major Mickey, Favouritehighlight and Anyonewilldo – followed closely by BETTING LINE (Rock Steady, Bettagetonpip, I Bet You & Operative Line) and SOMEBEACHSOMEWHERE (Eve Crocker, Swanbourne Spunk, Jaxon Beach & You Fly With Me). FOUR STARZZZ SHARK (Indelible) and ARTISTIC FELLA (Sweet Creation) were also represented this weekend.
