Two brand new winners for STAY HUNGRY this week as Autumn arrives – two-year-old Smooth Buckeroo (bred by R & J Hayes) on debut at Bathurst and three-year-old La Feast (S & K Robertson) by 12.1m at Shepparton.
CAPTAINTREACHEROUS also had a new two-year-old winner with filly Myras Mint (Heath Bourke) saluting at Menangle in just her second start, while seasoned campaigners were also successful – Ourtreacherous Reign (David Kennedy) in 1:55.4 at Newcastle to bring up $63,000 in stakes and at Globe Derby, mare Come On Sloopy (J Blunt & A Daniels) broke through the $50,000 mark.
BETTING LINE again headlined our past sires list with four winners – Our Mystery Bet, Honolulu Princess, Novanta Rising and Marksman – followed by SOMEBEACHSOMEWHERE with a double – Rough And Ready + Majors Creek. Also represented were WESTERN TERROR (Silver Mystique), ROCKNROLL HANOVER (Lullaby), BLISSFULL HALL (Kingston Shannon) and FOUR STARZZZ SHARK (Shark Dancer).
