Super fast this week was STAY HUNGRY filly Hunger Strike (bred by Kate Baring) who clocked 1:53.3 to reach $116,000 in stakes at Newcastle where CAPTAINTREACHEROUS son Captain Dorian (Helen Head) also took a win, in 1:54.9 to boost his bank to $127,000.
Also on CAPTAIN‘s win list this week was two-year-old Gold Tiara heat winner Discernment (Heath Bourke) in 1:54.3 by 12m, and three-year-olds Its Electrifying (Les Whiteside) at Albion Park in 1:52.8 and Crusader Miss (Mal Moody) who secured her first win in this age group at Penrith.
Of our former roster it was BETTING LINE again (Windy Hill Tara, Double Lines, Bodyline and on the quick back-up, Alwaysmissingyou) just ahead of WELL SAID (Double Said Major Statement, Eyeknow & Ann Sophie). SOMEBEACHSOMEWHERE had a double with Lollipop and Port Au Prince while ROCKNROLL HANOVER was represented by Oyster Stride.
