Another terrific win for CAPTAINTREACHEROUS daughter, Treacherous Gall (bred by WD Kennedy), picking up the Listed Sires Stakes Fillies & Mares Classic in 1:54.8 at Alexandra Park this week. In the new year, CAPTAIN had two progeny smash through $60,000 in stakes – Skyfall Benchmark (Dacar Newcastle) in 1:55.2 at Melton and at Tamworth, Frontliner (Solid Earth) took a PB of 1:56.5 to win his race by over 13m. At Busselton, Cadillo (Kevin Charles) claimed his third lifetime victory, the Berryman Memorial and at Victor Harbour, STAY HUNGRY filly Kittykat Cutie (Wyndown Stud) continued on her winning ways, going back to back for her fourth two-year-old win.
BETTING LINE yet again led the way for our former roster with six winners to see in the new year – Deadline, Malani John, Marksman, Diamond Shooz, Drive Line and Sonic Seelster – while FOUR STARZZZ SHARK took a treble with Four Starzzz Ruby, Starzinhereyes, and in the Parkes Cup, Allstarzzz Frankie. WESTERN TERROR (Borsellino), ROCKNROLL HANOVER (Metro Assassin) and WELL SAID (He Said She Said) were also well represented.
