A brand new three-year-old winner for CAPTAINTREACHEROUS this week headed a midweek trifecta for the sire. French Fries (bred by Solid Earth) took a 5.6m win at Albion Park, giving him a win in both his two- and three-year-old seasons. Nearby at Redcliffe, Lanai (Mathew Day) took win #10 to bring his bank up to $92,000 while mare Captains Beachbabe (Terry Ferguson) hit $78,000 with her 9m salute at Narrogin.
Going into yearling sale season, CAPTAIN‘s Australian average progeny earnings now sit at a remarkable $84,000, while overall earnings have almost ticked over into $22m.
Of our past roster WELL SAID topped the results this week with four winners – Royal Speech, Major Statement, Dooo Dont Think and Punto Caliente – while there were winners each for BLISSFULL HALL (Jacks Up), BETTING LINE (Kimchi) and SOMEBEACHSOMEWHERE (Beach Hopper).
