Breeders E & M Stride shared CAPTAIN‘s big week with three winners by the sire – Destiny Stride took consecutive wins at Menangle in 1:52.5 while Canberra produced a double in Alpha Stride in his second win and new winner, three-year-old filly Astral Stride who saluted by 24m.
Filly Keayang Payton (Durham Park) remained unbeaten with a win 6.9m win at Mt Gambier and Admiralofthefleet (Fred Crews) bumped his earnings to $37,000 at Geelong. Captains Catch (Benstud Standardbreds) went 1:54 at Menangle to edge his bank closer to $100,000 and at Albion Park, captain Shuffles (Bill Crosby) made it four wins from his last five starts for $259,000 in earnings.
STAY HUNGRY was presented with an exciting new three-year-old winner when filly Spicyshannon (Atworthy Park) saluted in 1:55.1 at Newcastle.
