While we’re very excited to have announced our newest stallion to the roster in BULLDOG HANOVER, the results just keep coming in for our established boys, particularly from North America.
STAY HUNGRY filly Lyons Legend claimed her $55,000 division of the Sand Tart series for 2YO fillies in 1:52.1 at the Meadows while her fellow filly Stay Sunny took a $20,000 division of the Pennsylvania Stallion Series later on the card. His fillies had a good weekend, with 3YO Miraculous Deo taking a $20,000 leg of the Meadowlands Kindergarten Series in 1:52.0.
Of course CAPTAINTREACHEROUS didn’t miss any of the action with Flamboyance (Penn Stallion Series division) and Captain Albana (colts Kindergarten leg) both advancing through their respective series. Locally, he had six good winners, headlined by Jewel Melody who took the South East Oaks at Albion Park. New 3YO winner The Lost Storm blew them away at Bendigo and rounding out the juvenile results for CAPTAIN, High Above landed his second win from three starts by 12m at Tabcorp Park Melton. Peligroso notched up another at Gloucester Park, Captain Shuffles clocked 1:54.9 at Albion Park and at Globe Derby, Come On Sloopy recorded her eighty lifetime victory.
There was a treble for BETTING LINE this weekend, with Dannemore remaining unbeaten in Australia, Daylight and I Break The Line both successful. He also had a Penn Stallion Series 2YO filly division winner at The Meadows in Gingertree Carlin. FOUR STARZZZ SHARK also took a treble (Karinya Gill, Lavender Dolly & the omen bet, Miss Barty) and there were doubles for both BLISSFULL HALL (Pops Boy & Secret Jack) and WELL SAID (Ann Sophie & Wellsaidlucy). HESTON BLUE CHIP was represented by Puzzle Piece, WESTERN TERROR had four winners – Nor Westa, Im Alrite, Kimble & Send It – while SOMEBEACHSOMEWHERE recorded five (Serengeti Sunrise, Firestorm Red, Alexia Rose, Itsamoneymaker & South Coast Arden).
