A good spread of juvenile winners for CAPTAINTREACHEROUS this weekend, with 5YO Treacherous Saint the outlier, saluting at Mt Gambier by nearly five metres. Two three-year-olds made their mark – Captain Tom by nearly ten metres at Wagga, and at Newcasltle a 13m margin for Bravo Stride to make it three wins from six starts. Over in New Zealand, it was CAPTAIN two-year-olds in the spotlight – Treacherous Baby took her maiden win at Rangiora and at Wyndham, the half-brother to multiple Group 1 champ Dont Stop Dreaming, colt Dreams Are Free, posted his second win from just three starts.
From our previous rosters we had BETTING LINE (Waterline, The Tri LIne, Eye See Amor & My Purple Patch) on terms again with SOMEBEACHSOMEWHERE (Jilliby Jay Sea, Hillview Bondi, Budgiesmuggler & Missed The Truth), and WELL SAID with a treble – Extreme Sea, Spudmeister and Interpretation (not the Melbourne Cup runner!). Also represented were WESTERN TERROR (Yesnomaybeso), BLISSFULL HALL (Clarenden Envoy), ROCKNROLL HANOVER (Rocks Roy), FOUR STARZZZ SHARK (Allstarzzz Frankie) and ARTISTIC FELLA (Aunty Bessie).
