At Bendigo Lux Aeterna put 28m on her rivals in the $175,000 Nutrien 2YO Pacing Fillies Classic and Captain Hammerhead posted his fifth lifetime win to take the $100,000 Nutrien 3YO C&G Final in 1:54.3. Over in the west, the fillies were out in force – August Moon took a third straight victory at Gloucester Park and Our Lady Jen won yet again at Central Wheatbelts. At Newcastle, La Vista pushed past $60,000 in stakes and at Parkes, Smooth Bon Bon took win number nine.
