The Lost Storm in 1:55.2 by a 17m margin at Albion Park was the headline but not far behind, filly Sahara Breeze clocked 1:55.9 at Kilmore to win the Mifsud Memorial. Captivate represented a new winner for the champion sire at Albion Park, as did Amore Infida (on debut at Addington) while August Moon (Gloucester Park) topped $109,000 in earnings to round out the juvenile list. His older sons Platinum Stride (Mildura) and Spirit King (Tabcorp Park Menangle) also added to their winning record this weekend.
CAPTAIN is also the leading 2YO average earnings sire currently, his babies sitting on Australian average earnings of $42,000.
