A GROUP 1 victory for two-year-old CAPTAINTREACHEROUS daughter Captains Mistress (bred by Taffy Ltd) at Addington was the highlight for our statesman sire this weekend, she was able to capture the 2024 NZSS 2YO Pacing Fillies Championship, while at Melton, Perfect Class (Peter Gleeson) clocked 1:51.7 to win the GR2 Caduceus Classic and take his earnings past $386,000.
In North America, his filly Donegal Spirit took a division of the Star Destroyer at Harrah’s Philadelphia in 1:51.1.
SOMEBEACHSOMEWHERE took a brace of winners over the weekend – Shazza Love (twice!), Hillview Bondi, Remember Me Now and Avaiden – followed on our past sires’ list by BETTING LINE (Empress Byline, Aurora Joy & Daylight), WELL SAID (Kuhio Crest & All About Ivy) and WESTERN TERROR (Dee Terror).
