Captain Bellasario finally got his moment in the sun, saluting in 1:54.7 to take the 4YO Entires & Geldings Division, and to round out the boys’ categories, the brilliant Catch A Wave saluted in the 3YO Colts & Geldings Final in 1:54.5 to take his earnings just shy of $400,000.
Of our past sires, WESTERN TERROR had a double, Here Comes Bobby taking his fifth consecutive win and Dougs Babe winning the GR1 Vicbred 4YO Mares final. A double also for FOUR STARZZZ SHARK (Sharzzz Destiny & Karinya Gill), winners for HESTON BLUE CHIP (Orlando Blue) and BLISSFULL HALL (Asmileandawinx) and three for SOMEBEACHSOMEWHERE (Elegatn, Lyrical Genius & Colerne).
