In Queensland, Jewel Melody claimed the $153,000 QBred Triad 3YO Fillies final while a Melton treble included Encipher (1:54.7 in the Westburn Grant FFA), Platinum Stride in 1:54.3 and his third win from four starts, 2YO Stormryder.
At Ballarat he secured a 3YO double with High Above taking the Holloway 3YO Classic and Gawn clocking in at 1:55.6. School Captain made it four in a row with a 1:55.9 win at Wagga and Gordons Bay tipped over $200,000 in earnings with a win at Menangle.
Captain Albano claimed a $42,000 division of the Tyler B in 1:51.1 at The Meadows in the US, and at Pocono Downs, he had three representatives – Allwag Hanover in the $100,000 Always B Miki Invitational (1:48.4), Ken hanover in the $200,000 Max Hempt Memorial Consolation (1:49) and Front Page Story in the $125,000 James M Lynch Memorial Consolation (1:50.2).
