What a big weekend for CAPTAINTREACHEROUS!
Eight winners including two new three-year-old winners – Party Central (bred by Breckon Farms) at Newcastle in 1:55.8 and Its Electrifying (Les Whiteside) in 1:54.6, one of an Albion Park double with Captains Pick (Solid Earth) who went 1:55.1 to take his bank to $180,000.
Captain Jack (K Hurst, M Plumme, J Grum, J Phillips, J Newton, H Cubbin, J Lyne and A, I & M Johnston) took a 6.4m win at Dubbo, filly Keayang Payton (Durham Park) made it three wins from four starts with her 10m salute at Cranbourne and at Wyndham, Tokyo Rose (R Cornelius) claimed the Sangster Fruit Bowl. At Williams CAPTAIN took a double, with both winners pushing past $85,000 in earnings when Chillin (Melanie Settree & Janet Moore) claimed the 2025 Williams Cup and Captains Beachbabe (Terry Ferguson) by 7.8m in the Wilkie Memorial.
Of our past sires it was BETTING LINE once again knocking it out of the park with six winners – Rescume, Adamas, Island Brouhinia, Betting Jewel, Itzmineontheline and Chasing Rex – followed by SOMEBEACHSOMEWHERE with a double (Tough Shaz & Twilight Beach) and represented were FOUR STARZZZ SHARK (Alpha Circus) and WELL SAID (Done Well).
