CAPTAINTREACHEROUS progeny new and old on the board this weekend, headlined by two-year-olds Path To Greatness who kept his unbeaten streak in tact with a 1:53.7 win at Albion Park and new winner Infamee, up in just his second start at Alexandra Park. Hitting $245,000 in stakes with a 1:52.6 win was Captain Hammerhead, in by 17m ahead of his rivals and making a Melton double with High Above who clocked 1:52.5 to make it four wins from eight starts. At Gloucester Park, Chillin put two together the take his earnings past $50,000 and at Menangle it was Captain Tom in 1:51.6 to top $70,000 in stakes for a CAPTAIN quinella with Mick Danger second over the line.
In North America, CAPTAIN colt Jackson Cooper posted 1:53.4 to take a leg of The Stallion Series at Harrah’s Philadelphia, and at The Meadows, two divisions of the two-year-old fillies PA Stallion Series went to daughters of STAY HUNGRY – Beyonsay Yankee (1:52.3) and Odds On Full Aces (1:53.2).
