More solid results for sire-of-the-moment, CAPTAINTREACHEROUS, with 2YO filly Lux Aeterna securing the GR3 Pink Bonnet in 1:54.3 at Tabcorp Park Menangle. Jilliby Willow took a 1:53.6 win at Ballarat, while he had a new 3YO winner in Cambridge, with The Postman up on debut, and August Moon in the money again at Gloucester Park.
Of our past sires, BETTING LINE – with plenty of yearlings coming up in the sales – had a blinder, taking a GR1 NSW Oaks quinella with Windy Hill Tara over Soho Seraphine, and winners also in Operative Line, Sapphire Gambler, Alcopony and Rebline.
There were doubles for ROCKNROLL HANOVER (Glenledi Commander & Asian Elvis) and WELL SAID (Jonique & Glenledi Chief), and winners for WESTERN TERROR (Westray), FOUR STARZZZ SHARK (Giant Jackson) and ARTSPEAK (Arts Classic). SOMEBEACHSOMEWHERE had his usual haul including Group winner Honolua Bay, Larvoto Beach, Port Au Prince, Surf Ace & Some Dan.
