Seven winners from just twelve starters now for our rising star sire STAY HUNGRY after 2YO colt Go Without (pic) took the Sapling Stakes at Goulburn this weekend in just his second start – and how he did it was super impressive!
CAPTAINTREACHEROUS two year olds were also flying with Youretheonethatiwant taking the GROUP 2 Delightful Lady Classic YG over fellow filly Won And Only, making a quinella for the sire. In the West, Catch A Wave just kept doing Catch A Wave things, clocking 1:55.7 at Gloucester Park to win the GROUP 1 Fremantle Cup. Captain Hammerhead was back on the books with his 1:55.3 Melton win, while recently named 2023 Australian 2YO Filly of the Year kept on with her form with a NSW Oaks heat win at Menangle. Over the Pacific at Pocono Downs, filly Whassup Hanover claimed the final of the 3YO Fillies Bobby Weiss series in 1:53.0.
BETTING LINE just continues to produce winners, claiming six over the weekend – Remission, Poppys Last Dance, The Only Decision, Bet The House, Lady Digby & My Ultimate Levi. SOMEBEACHSOMEWHERE scored a double (Remember Me Now & Drive To The Beach) and there were winners for BLISSFULL HALL (Ultra Bliss), ROCKNROLL HANOVER (Rocks Roy) and FOUR STARZZZ SHARK (Filly Thirteen).
