At home, we saw Benbullan put two together to take a clean sweep of the Cranbourne 7000, also back-to-back for La Vista, bringing her earnings to $78,000 at Narrogin. Captain Oh Captain hit $54,000 with his Marburg victory while over the ditch, Lakelsa (Addington) and Semba (Alexandra Park) both secured their second lifetime wins.
At The Meadows, Captain Albano clocked 1:49.2 to win the 2024 $350,000 Delvin Miller Adios while at Meadowlands it was CAPTAIN daughters stealing the show in the Tomkins-Geer Stake three-year-old fillies divisions – Caviart Belle in 1:50.1 and Rocket Deo in 1:49.3.
SOMEBEACHSOMEWHERE took honours on our past sire list with a treble of Kwick Sand, Cala Greca and Mondello Beach, followed by BETTING LINE‘s double (Wings On The Line & Isthisjustfantasy) with both WESTERN TERROR (Franco Western) and FOUR STARZZZ SHARK (Karinya Gill) represented too.
