It was three consecutive wins for CAPTAINTREACHEROUS son Gordons Bay when he took out the $100,000 TAB Regional Championship State Final at Menangle this weekend, a solid 12m victory to take his earnings to $185,000. He was the headline of CAPTAIN‘s three weekend winners with mare Chevrons Bypass topping $100,000 banked with her win later on the card, and at Bendigo, 3YO colt Perfect Class took his fourth win and pushed his earnings to an impressive $92,000.
At Harrah’s Philadelphia, the Pensylvania Sires Stakes 3YO Colts & Geldings divisions are underway, a time of year we always look forward to. CAPTAIN colt Ervin Hanover claimed one $50,000 division, in 1:49.2 but we were super impressed with the quinella posted by STAY HUNGRY with Seven Colors clocking 1:48.1 in his heat – equalling the track record!
Of our former roster, WESTERN TERRROR had a great weekend with four winners – Whata Terror, Scarlet Babe & Im Alright, while there were winners for WELL SAID (Listen To My Heart), ROCKNROLL HANOVER (Harjeet), BETTING LINE (Whos The Dad) and BLISSFULL HALL whose son Kensington Shannon took his formline to an impressive 94-14-35 with $115,000 in earnings! There were doubles for FOUR STARZZZ SHARK (Pom Pay & Filly Thirteen) and HESTON BLUE CHIP (Jimmy Joe & Double Act), and for SOMEBEACHSOMEWHERE, five – Mos London, Down Stream, Sumomentsomewhere, Oneloveonelife & Playa Blanca.
