Off the track, CAPTAIN continued his outstanding run of yearling sale results with the Carlas Pixel colt bring the Australian record price of $270,000 at the Melbourne Nutrien sale. He also sired a $100,000 colt from Perfect Sense and a $170,000 colt from Bamako Mali.
Back at the track, SOMEBEACHSOMEWHERE took another blinder with eight winners across the weekend – Larvotto Beach, Wendys Wish, Noosa Beach, Make Your Mark, Scotlynn Beach, Euroking, Wheres The Gold & Soho Tsunami – while there were winners each for WELL SAID (Bettys Lass) and ARTSPEAK (Aunty Frances).
WESTERN TERROR (Jessejameshannon, Cordelo & Nor Westa) and BETTING LINE (Brunello , Sapphire Gambler & Line Up Jacquie) each took a treble while HESTON BLUE CHIP had a double with Seeryanfly & Double Act.
