Three lovely winners for CAPTAINTREACHEROUS on the weekend – filly Cool And Classy remaining unbeaten after claiming the 2024 2YO Classic at Albion Park, Captain Hammerhead back-to-back in 1:54.7 at Melton to take his earnings up to $210,000, and in Addington, Chase A Dream and Dreams Are Free gave CAPTAIN a quinella in a heat of the 3YO C&G Sires Stakes Series.
At The Meadows in the US, CAPTAIN colt Booming Economy continued his good form with a 1:51.4 division of the 3YO C&G Bye Bye Byrd PASS series.
Of our past sires, BETTING LINE led the way again with three winners – Saint Veran, Young Bluey and Jilliby Mistress – followed closely by SOMEBEACHSOMEWHERE with two – Surf Ace and Botany Bay Warrior. Also represented were FOUR STARZZZ SHARK (Sharkattack), ARTISTIC FELLA (Tubbee Tee), BLISSFULL HALL (Blissfull Mind) and WELL SAID (Punto Caliente).
