Two top flight two-year-old winners this weekend for CAPTAINTREACHEROUS with Youretheonethatiwant (bred by G & K Wash) taking her earnings past $92,000 with a win at Alexandra Park (with fellow CAPTAIN filly Hot And Dangerous in second) and My Ultimate Freddie (Katie Carville) taking his fourth consecutive win by a 9.5m margin at Newcastle. Three-year-old Octagonise (Brooklyn Lodge) also made it four wins from his last four outings with a win at Launceston while Tell A Tall Story (M Croatto, M McDonald, Stoevelaar, A Day ) collected his fourth lifetime win at Gawler.
At The Red Mile in Kentucky, CAPTAIN had a day out too – rising star colt Fallout clocked an incredible 1:48.4 to win the $100,000 International Stallion Stake 2YO C&G prize, while Rodeo Drive Deo claimed the $81,000 Fillies in 1:50.1 and in a sizzling 1:48.3, Rocket Deo collected the $116,000 2024 Glen Garnsey.
