Captain’s Queen was the standout performer this weekend, taking a semi-final of the NSW Breeders Challenge 2YO Fillies series in 1:53.4 at Tabcorp Park Menangle, while 3YO Gordons Bay claimed a heat in his 3YO C&G series at Wagga. Captain Wilson was the first of CAPTAIN’s Victorian winners, along with Lochinvar Chief who posted a zippy 1:54.2 at Maryborough to win by 13.1m.
BETTING LINE filly Betting Star took the APG Ladyship Pace at Parkes.
Of our past sires, SOMEBEACHSOMEWHERE was a standout again, with My Ultimate Byron taking a semi final of the NSWBC, joining on the winner’s list Assassinator, Breach The Beach & Vouchers. Also with four weekend winners was WESTERN TERROR (Ashlee Nitro, Bid For Stardom, Holdingno Currency & Caulonia Terror), while WELL SAID claimed a treble (Gottahaveahobbie, Alakazam & The Accidental One).
